VERSION 7.3

DIY Surveys 7.3

DIY Surveys 7.3 introduces richer messaging reports, clearer scheduling and improved visibility of survey activity, alongside stronger account protection and improvements to everyday survey management.

Graphical messaging analytics

  • Explore messaging performance through charts and detailed table views.
  • Compare delivery statuses by time, country, account or survey, and switch between message counts, message segments and percentages to understand how your communications are performing.

TinyURL click-through reporting

This provides greater visibility of engagement after an invitation has been delivered.

  • View tracked link clicks in Survey Summary and Traffic Analysis alongside messaging activity.

Configurable link verification and branding

  • Choose between None, Basic and Advanced click-through verification settings.
  • Basic and Advanced options provide checks for suspected automated visitors, with Advanced using Google reCAPTCHA.
  • Supported verification pages can display your logo.

Redesigned scheduling controls

  • Set up one-off, daily, weekly and monthly schedules using clearer date, time and time-zone controls.
  • Preview upcoming run times before saving, and use repeat settings for processes that need to run several times during the day.
  • Survey invitation windows provide additional control over when invitations can be sent.

Clearer Data I/O monitoring and failure alerts

  • General processing messages and errors are brought together in a single history, making import and export errors easier to investigate.
  • Automatic notifications alert the account owner and the administration team when a process encounters an error.

Guest access to reporting

  • Invite colleagues or clients into an organisation as guest viewers so they can review reports and delivery performance.
  • Operational editing and data-deletion controls are restricted, helping teams share visibility while retaining control of live projects.

Stronger sign-up and sign-in protection

  • CAPTCHA checks add protection against automated activity during registration and login.
  • Improvements to account validation, password recovery, session handling and two-step verification also make account access more consistent.

Improved survey authoring and reporting

  • Updates to the question editor improve the editing experience, with corrections across question layouts, previews and response handling.
  • Reporting improvements address several question types, including matrix, rating and MaxDiff questions.

The release also includes fixes across survey distribution, WhatsApp invitations, respondent imports, message exports and organisation permissions.
